- Assist with sourcing shortlisted candidates and contact them for assessments and interviews.
- Calling candidates for interviews and assessments.
- Sending out invites to candidates inviting them for interviews and assessments.
- Sorting candidates who qualify and eliminating those who don't qualify from the longlist before the actual shortlist process takes place.

- Do filing according to alphabetical order and numerical order.
- Maintain confidentiality by storing and locking files in a secure and safe space e.g filling documents putting them in filling cabinet/room.
- Asist line manager with calculating interview scores.
- Assist line manager with conducting a vacancy report to fill a post.
- Calculate vacancy turnaround time.
- Sort attendance registers according to department.
- Booking the boardroom for interviews and shortlisting.
- Draft appointment letters.
- Draft regret letters.
- Conduct hiring and onboarding process, e.g employees sign hiring files, open employee files.
- Strong knowledge of Batho Pele principles
- Strong knowledge of municipal acts (MSR, MSA etc)

- Receive employee leave`s and submit to transactions department for capturing.
- Do loco allowance and submit it to line manager for signature and submit it to transaction's department for capturing.
- Do clearance documents and consult all stakeholders involved and submit for capturing to transactions.
- Conduct staff payroll and submit it to respective line managers of each department for signature and approval.
- Submitting attendance registers to transactions department for staff audit at the end of the financial year.
- Submit payroll for payroll audit at the end of the financial year.
- Benefits and allowances, clearance (release of funds, uif, retirement fund, pension fund,conduct exit interviews)
- Request acting letter, attendance register and check if the incumbent took leave while acting, after that draft the acting allowance get it signed by the relevant departments (finance, line management, HR and lastly submit to Transactions for capturing).
- Check employees' pay slip on SAP.
- Checking of leave days an employee has accumulated and the number of days they are entitled to.
- Access to personal information of the employee.
- Check employee medical aid contribution, UIF and Pension fund.
- Check whether an employee has been hired (captured on system).
- Check if an employee has been terminated on SAP.

- Send email for queries collection.
