I am an IT specialist with 20 years experience in IT Service Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
I implemented DR and ITSCM for Anglo the past year(2022-Present) , before that i was the dr mananger for Gijima holdings (2020-2022), the bigest outsourcer in sa. I managed all disaster recovery tasks,tests equipment for internal and external clients. before i was headhunted by gijima i was the DR Manager for MultiChoice for 7 Years(2013-2020), implementing processes and plans in order to achieve eventual orginizational resilience.IT manager for Global Continuity (2001-2013)
I am ISO22301 certified by pecb and have a CBCI (Certificate) with the business continuity institute. i hold several certifications for microsoft and cloud infrastructures with the Certified Solutions Expert on cloud and Infrastructure as the latest edition. In lieu of a master's degree ,equivalent of 20 years’ specialized working experience , Matric - 1998. EG Jansen High School
