I’m an experienced higher-education professional with over 13 years in the sector and a strong track record in academic operations, programme management, and quality assurance. I currently lead the Human Resource Management Faculty at Boston City Campus, overseeing multiple qualifications and managing both permanent and part-time academic teams. My work focuses on maintaining academic integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting staff and student success within an ODeL environment.
I’m practical, reliable, and calm under pressure, with a solid understanding of CHE and DHET requirements and extensive experience in programme design, assessment oversight, and academic governance. I have more than thirteen years of experience in the education sector, including seven years in academic management. My career spans academic operations, programme coordination, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across NQF Levels 5–8. I currently lead the Human Resource Management Faculty at Boston City Campus, overseeing four qualifications, managing academic teams, and ensuring alignment with CHE and DHET standards within an ODeL environment.
Before this, I served as Programme Quality Practitioner and Academic Quality Manager, where I strengthened academic-governance systems, coordinated accreditation projects, led programme and module reviews, and ensured institutional readiness for both internal and external audits. Earlier in my career, I worked as an educator, building strong foundations in curriculum delivery, student support, and assessment practice.
Across all roles, I have developed a reputation for being practical, reliable, and calm in complex operational environments, with a strong commitment to academic integrity, staff development, and student success.
I hold a Master of Laws (LLM) in Labour Law from Nelson Mandela University, which strengthened my understanding of labour legislation, governance, and organisational fairness. I also completed a BCom Honours in Industrial and Organisational Psychology(UNISA), giving me a strong grounding in human behaviour, organisational systems, and HR practices. Alongside these, I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (NMU) and a BA in Social Dynamics(SU), which support my work in curriculum design, teaching, and academic leadership.
