My experience as a candidate legal practitioner at the Socio Economic Rights Institute (SERI) has equipped me with a solid understanding of the rule of law, jurisdiction, human rights litigation, property, labour and criminal law. I have honed my skills in problem solving, communication, planning and organising, writing skills, client skills, contract drafting, legal research and litigation support and have a proven track record of specific achievements by successfully facilitating and organising Marikana public outreach, Representing SERI at stake holder meetings and workshops and representing clients at both the District and Regional courts.
I gained my professional expereince in the following organisations:
SERI as a litigation fellow (January 2024-to date)
SERI as a candidate legal practitioner ( January 2023–December 2023)
Casual Workers Advice Office as a legal officer (October 2019 – February 2022)
SERI as a Marikana Family Liaison Officer (January 2014 – February 2016)
Motloba Attorneys as a Receptionist (October 2009 - February 2010)
I am an LLB graduate from University of South Africa (UNISA)
