- Client Complaints
- Client Relations
- Driver Reports
- Management of hours, fleet.
- DPO (Distribution process optimizing)
- Monitor and report on the RMD (Rate my Delivery)
- Risk Reporting and monitoring
- Keep the DHV Daily logistics KPI dashboard updated
- Risk Management
Logistics - Included but not limited to:
MAIN DUTIES
- Oversee all aspects of the vehicle management o Managing of drivers and their hours o Send drivers for training as needed o Book the service of the vehicles o Track deliveries and keep clients informed o Assign tasks to subordinates and colleagues where applicable
- Recruit new clients
- Service current clients
- All admin related duties (e.g., fleet routes)
Day-2-Day
- Working with clients
- Recruit new clients and generate new business.
- Helpful and supportive to all customers and colleagues
- Projecting a smart, efficient image to the public
- Reliability, honesty and willingness to take responsibility
- Staying within the budget as planned.
- Working as a team and individual to the best interest of the company
- Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative in challenging situations
Training & development:
Recommend to management any training courses you believe would enhance the performance of your team. Attendance on training courses may be required.
During Acting Management durations
- Managing the transport department including, fleet controllers.
- Assist the following departments in managing their department
& staff o Fleet Inspectors department o Workshop department
- Communicate all necessary information from above mentioned departments to top management
- Refer above mentioned departments to relevant managers with aspects that is outside of the transport area (e.g., IOD to be referred to OHS department)
- Keep these departments accountable for their duties and responsibilities as per their Job description
- Give through request e.g., training needs, in these departments as identified.
