My name is Jesse Vosloo and I graduated with a BSc Food Science (Cum laude) from Stellenbosch University in December 2022. I am a passionate and driven Food Science graduate who strives to always put out work of a high quality. I love to challenge myself and I am enthusiastic about any opportunity that could expand my knowledge and promote growth. During my studies I obtained industry experience in both new product development/R&D and food safety and quality assurance.
Umatie - Quality and Production Intern
I completed holiday industry training at Umatie, a baby food and ready-made meal food company based in Stellenbosch. During this period I gained experience in HACCP, quality and safety control procedures and the general food science related running of a small food company.
MANE Flavor and Fragrance Manufacturer -Research and Development Intern
I completed holiday industry training at MANE, South Africa. During my time at MANE I worked in the new product development department. I gained experience in product development as well as seasoning and flavour development and incorporation.
I obtained a BSc Food Science in December 2022 from Stellenbosch University. I graduated Cum laude and was recognised as top academic achieving student not only in my final year, but each year of my degree.
