Júan Steyn

I am a final-year Computer Science student (graduating end of 2026) with hands-on experience building full-stack web applications using Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL-based databases. Comfortable working across the stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end logic and data storage, with a growing interest in cloud platforms such as AWS. A fast learner and hands-on problem solver who enjoys taking ownership of tasks, collaborating with others, and improving how systems work for end users.

I enjoy tackling logic puzzles and problem-solving challenges (e.g. Rubik's Cube), and has experience coordinating groups and activities through youth leadership and volunteer roles — translating into strong teamwork and communication skills. I also got my KZN colors for enduro cycling along with being selected for the KZN Enduro Team to participate in the SA Championship 2023.
