Lucky Mdiniso is a meticulous individual who prides himself in always delivering quality work. He has rail industry experience of over 28 years and has had exposure in the technologies utilised by Prasa, Gautrain and Spoornet (now Transnet Freight Rail). He has excellent interpersonal skills which he has managed to demonstrate time and again during Driver Training and Train Coordination activities.
Lucky's train driving experience spans over a period of 17 years and has made him the most suitable person to train upcoming drivers. Amongst others, Lucky has singlehandedly managed to train 40 drivers at Braamfontein Depot within a space of 4 months. He has over a 10-year period conducted Part 4 Training (i.e., on the job training) for rail personnel at Wolmerton and Pretoria Depots.
He has been trained and has also mastered operating the 5M2, 10M4, 10M5 locomotives vacuum brake system. Further on, he has been trained to operate the movement of Electrical Motor Unit (EMU). Lucky's aptitude and understanding of various train technologies, resilience, people skills, patience and eagerness to learn makes him an asset for any organisation.
