About

I’m a qualified Millwright and have a National Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. I also have a Higher Diploma in Specialist Management along with many technical and soft skills certificates. I am also a Nationally Registered Assessor and Moderator.

My knowledge, experience and expertise has led me to many various occupations throughout Smiths, i.e.. Millwright, Production Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Technical Training Manager, Specialist – Aftermarket Service, Specialist- Warranty & Technical Liaison. I also represented Smiths to merSETA and the DAC. I was also requested to travel to Thailand, Singapore, and DENSO Czech Republic to represent Smiths. I have often been asked to support other Metair companies on behalf of Smiths. I conducted air conditioning training both nationally and to TSAM. I have also nationally conducted supplier development to Service Dealers.

My ability to work as a team member has created great friendships and support throughout all my roles. My ability to persevere on my own has earned me respect as a dedicated and hard worker always pushing for the best.

My real strength is my ability to break down complex concepts and operations into simple steps that someone can easily follow. Other strengths are that I am flexible, very good at coaching and mentoring and easily adapt to change.

My positive disposition and skills have ensured that there is always a win-win interaction between departments when involved in projects, training, audits, etc. I believe the above has led to a deep understanding of Smiths processes and the intricacies involved in maintaining and improving them.
