I am a 38 year old female from Cape Town and have been in the hotel industry for 20 years. After graduating from the International Hotel School in 2005, I started my career on aboard the Queen Elizabeth the biggest ocean liner in the world. On my return I started at the front end of the hotel at reception and quickly worked my way up from reception to reservations, thereafter from senior reservationist to becoming an online accounts manager, managing our online foot print.
In 2010, I started as the Reservations Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, thereafter in 2014, I moved to the Cape Milner Hotel. I was employed as the Reservations Managers and was then promoted in 2018 to my current position as Revenue Manager.
Being employed at many hotels, I know first-hand how I could meaningfully contribute to the available position, which I have gained through both education and experience. I am efficient, self-motivated individual, have strong analytical skills, well organized with good communication skills with an eye for detail. Up to date with the latest office gadgets and industry practices.
I’m able to work calm under pressure and capable of thinking on my feet.
Once informed of the organizational issues and once I have a good understanding of the organization’s aims and objectives, I will support all efforts to reach the set targets and goals.
