CAFM Analyst (previously CAFM Administrator) at The Foschini Group (Pty) Ltd (2013-05 – 2019-06)

Originally contracted to convert TFG's outdated AutoCAD asset blocks; headhunted into a permanent CAFM Administrator role based on that work, and progressed to CAFM Analyst / Technical Lead reporting to the Project Manager.

• Took ownership of Archibus at TFG and drove its adoption from an under-used desktop application into the company-wide platform for work-order submission and space management.
• Designed and built the SLA workflow structures and user access/responsibility setups within Archibus from the ground up.
• Updated and converted all office drawings, and introduced naming conventions for asset blocks across AutoCAD and Archibus, replacing inconsistent legacy standards.
• Restructured department naming conventions and space assignment to reflect true occupancy and departmental layout, enabling tracking of employee, furniture and IT equipment placement at departmental level.
• Configured Archibus Web Central and supported the Archibus Mobile rollout.
• Produced user manuals and training documentation, and trained a graduate into the Archibus/CAFM role, transferring full system knowledge.
• Originated and implemented an intranet self-service portal enabling employees to log and track calls across all building-services departments (fleet through maintenance) — well received across the TFG group.

Owned and managed full operations of a 7-day-a-week retail convenience and takeaway business, from opening to closing.

• Updated drawing layouts following office moves per job-card instructions for a major bank client, managing that client's space allocations for their chargeback system.
• Detached and reattached Archibus/CAD Overlay links when editing room layouts, and converted drawings for new floors, while updating employee, asset and space information in Archibus.
