I am a well-organized, self-directed, experienced, and motivated professional with a career in Education. As a certified educator, I possess 25 years of experience in higher education lecturing, high school teaching, and Education Management in the Education sector locally and Internationally.
My international experience in the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates has provided me with the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse environment and master the online education platform. I am incredibly passionate and committed, with a strong track record in sound pedagogy practices, stakeholder management, and working within culturally diverse ecosystems, adapting well to all teams.
During my various educational experiences, I worked with students at all levels, including Adult education, and am able to manage differentiation with favourable learning outcomes adapting well to the nuances of different audiences. I am deadline-driven, a fast, and enthusiastic learner, and excel at my presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
My experience as a Head of Department and Faculty Lead involved working in depth with teacher development, teaching practices, lesson observations, and management of large teams. As the Faculty Head of FET Commerce, I have managed the team KPIs, conducted quality assurance of assessments, and curriculum content development. In my capacity as the Academic Council Support Manager I have led large teams, was responsible for 22 schools, and managed the Heads of Department within these schools.
I am therefore familiar and confident with various aspects of Education from classroom management, facilitation & mentoring of students and teachers as well as Education management and Academics.

I have most recently studied a Masters in ICT Education which was underpinned by 21st century education skills and the role of technology in education.
I am a certified teacher, registered with SACE, and have qualified with a bachelor's Degree in Education as well as a postgraduate honors degree in Commerce. I also hold a Master's in Business Administration and have a qualification in Industrial and organizational psychology.
