Ms. Thandiwe Koloi holds a National Diploma in Information Technology from the University of South Africa, an advanced Diploma in Management from Milpark Business School and a Project Management Certificate with the University of Cape Town.
Ms. Koloi has served in high offices both in Corporate and Public sectors, namely the National Department of Transport, South African Breweries (SAB), South Africa Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Johannesburg World Summit Company (JOWSCO), Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd (OBP Ltd) and the South African Weather Service (SAWS). Her humble beginnings include working as a Personal Assistant in the office of the Deputy Director General, then the office of the Director General in the National Department of Transport.
She has also worked as Executive Personal Assistant and Office Manager in high offices of Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of different organizations. Before exiting the corporate world, both private and government sector, she has served as a Stakeholder Relations Officer before branching on her own as an employer.
As a seasoned business woman, Ms Thandiwe Koloi has served in a number of business forums / business chambers and as a sole director for HGJ Africa Holdings that assist companies with compiling of Business Plans, advice on Governance and Compliances matters and facilitation of Business to Business interaction both on National and Regional (the rest of Africa) level.
Ms. Koloi is deeply passionate about the upliftment of SME’s hence one of her everyday job includes assisting local SME’s to be exposed to regional and international markets, by so doing aiding in expansion of a company’s operations by exposing them to the global markets through intra-Africa trade initiatives.
