During my first year of study, at Varsity College, I had an experiential learning module. It was essentially based on becoming an entrepreneur for the day. As a team leader, we were instructed to prepare a business plan and create an idea of a product we could sell or a service we could provide, not forgetting to thoroughly research our target markets by advertising at various forums.
The project was a learning experience as I developed leadership, communication and management skills. I later completed my qualification at College Campus due to financial challenges.
I aspire to see myself grow, become a founder of a restaurant or a clothing store in a business environment. My long term goal is to be a successful business woman as well as to give back to the community by helping welfare, individuals living with HIV and Aids and those fighting various diseases. My societal contribution lies in having a better and improved education system too.
