Hi!
My name is Alexie Babin and I am 23 years old. I am a nursing student at St-Lawrence college and work as a pharmacy technician at Rexall. I am looking into more administrative jobs in order to gain more knowledge in that field. I love working in teams, doing conflict resolution, patient care and making it the most enjoyable experience for our patients!
Coached classes of up to 12 kids at a time (ages 3-15) in a class that met weekly. I evaluated and kept track of the student’s improvements and skills while ensuring their safety and provided constant encouragement and positive feedback for the child to develop self-efficacy. As a coach, I constantly worked under-pressure and multitasked while on the floor with the gymnast.

I assisted in prescription interpretation, filing and dispensing medications as per pharmacist order entry and cart fill. I typed labels, prepare, credited, and filed charge slips. I transcribed phone orders to prepare them.
Participated in inventory control of floor stock and expired medications. Delivered medications to the patients. Retrieved written orders, filed, and helped clarify physician ordered to the pharmacist.
Performed patient and doctor calls regarding refill requests. Accurately billed and reversed insurance claims for prescriptions.
Responsible for providing hands-on care to patients in a variety of settings and recorded patients information, making sure they are healthy and safe. Reminded patients to take their medicine, conducted baths, checked vital signs, administered input/output of fluids. Delegated care duties to other team members in the facility after shift change.
Established and maintained interpersonal relationships with patients, strengthening trust within patient relations. Promptly attending to call lights and meeting the needs of my patients
