PSYCHOLOGIST, YORK REGION DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
- Part of the Regional Itinerant Primary Literacy Support, aimed at building teacher capacity in literacy.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.
- Provide timely written report.
- Engage in psycho-educational feedback sessions with parents and relevant school staff to inform them about assessment results and recommendations.
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to assist in meeting the needs of students.
- Review psychological profile of students to assess appropriate assistive technology.
- Review external psychological reports and determine Board coding eligibility.
- Attend in school team meetings and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to help support students.

· During internship and provisional year, facilitated social skills training to improve and manage behaviours of students with autism, ADHD, LDs, and mental health concerns.
