I'm a very sociable, proactive and hardworking person. I have experience in high pressure roles, working with people and with teams.
I do my best in every situation, I'm always passionate with whatever I do and trying to learn about my mistakes and from others all the time. I'm a Spanish native speaker and have an advance level of English. Looking for a new challenges and have new experiences in Toronto
I started working on December of 2017 at De la Ostia, a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant in Santiago, Chile. From the moment we opened it was busy, in the afternoons there's lines outside to enter and didn't end till we closed. A fast paced venue were I worked as a Bartender for a year and then as a Server for 3 approximately.
As the pandemic started, I couldn't keep working in De la Ostia, as there was no work for me, because the restaurant prioritised people that had more years working there.
So I got the chance of working for Marcos Baeza, a prestigious chef of Japanese cuisine were I learned about a higher end service and a different style of restaurant. A small place were I worked with one more server. A cozy, exclusive and stylish place.
And on December of 2021 I came to Toronto looking for new challenges and to become a student eventually. I started my journey working at Pizza Rústica, were the owner had two more venues, Eighteen30 and Scarlett, worked on all of them. Not a very pleasant experience, but it gave me the chance of adjusting my work to Canada.
Decided to get a better place, I got to Bar Chica, a newly opened tapas place on King and Portland. Excellent restaurant with a lot to give. An upscale tapas experience with a great team and a great quality of food and drinks. Had a wonderful experience and got the chance of knowing and working on one of the busiest neighborhoods in Toronto.
Graduated from school on 2017, did an English course in England and worked 5 years on the restaurant industry.
