As a broadcast news media and communications pro, I have a diverse and award winning background. I've been a leader as a reporter, newscaster, producer, news director, senior managing editor, journalism instructor, trainer and strategic advisor. A graduate of UBC (BA Geography, Political Science and B.Ed. Secondary Education) and BCIT (Broadcast Journalism), I have built a career on an honest, goal-oriented approach where success is based on connecting people to stories. That's reflected in his unique approach to interviews as a guest host on 980/CKNW and the Corus Radio Network.

I hold a current BC Teacher Regulation Branch teaching certificate and have a Bachelor of Education (UBC) in Education (post secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts (UBC) Geography/Political Science. I also hold a Diploma of Technology in Broadcast Journalism (BCIT). I have taught two terms as a full-time faculty member at BCIT in the Journalism Department and worked as a TTOC in Vancouver during my time as a part-time journalist. I currently work with technology industry C-Suite leaders as a media consultant and trainer.
