Very comfortable in a kitchen environment as have been working in them since high school. Have been trying for a supervising position for coming up on 2 years now, but responsibilities are continuing to pile on with no sign of a raise or promotion. Already comfortably run and close the kitchen on any night and love working with/leading a team. Looking to switch companies now as I feel undervalued.
Have worked in multiple similar kitchen environments. Mostly covering line and working with my staff there but also prepping when needed. There is no dishwasher at my current job so that responsibility is transferred to the cooks. The most relevant experience I believe I have is shift managing at Pizza Hut and closing for The Canadian Brewhouse. Currently work full-time for The Canadian Brewhouse Chestermere Location but am moving into seton and would like a new long term job.
Took all culinary classes possible in school, have considered pursuing a further education in culinary but need to work to be able to afford.
