I love Indigo. I love browsing the shelves for books and, during the holidays, for interesting gifts. I love the atmosphere and how friendly the employees are. I especially love how I can talk to anyone about books! I enjoy working with people and problem solving. I'm easy to talk and and have great verbal and written commuication skills. I would love to work for Indigo!
Currently, I volunteer as an online religion teacher. I initiate and mediate a weekly online discussion and a weekly Zoom meeting. I enjoy meeting new students every term and getting to know them. I've worked customer service jobs before during my university years- Nine West and Crabtree and Evelyn- and enjoyed the environment of helping people find what they needed or wanted to buy.
I've also worked with developmentally disabled children as a classroom teacher's assistant. Those kids taught me so much about patience and active listening.
My most relevant education is my Bachelor's degree in Child Development Psychology from NYU, Class of 2001. I've been a life long learner, taking online courses in art history and in person courses in interior design.
