- Operate day to day with maintaining a high percentage of up time
- Support and work with Millwights during down days
- Watch over jobs and crew during annual shut downs
- Maintain a continuous learning experience through ongoing formal and informal employee training that delivers the most knowledge and safe procedures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring tools. During the day, I use calipers and micrometer to ensure our product is within all perimeters
- Lock out, tag out, hazard assessments are a normal part of the daily work
- Work closely with maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Trouble shooting mechanical, and electrical issues to help resolve issues
- Maintain a safe working environment and protect company assets
- Provide on the floor coaching and feedback for team members
