I am a qualified, experienced business development professional. I am looking to transfer my skills and talents into a new forum, with opportunites for growth. I am looking to hit the ground running and keep moving forward with the corporation, enhancing the business with innovative ideas and charisma. I have developed skills in empathy, communication and can bridge any age gap. I have over 20 years experience in the financial industry that gives me leverage to build on and succeed in new roles.
My professional experience has advanced and developed extensively as I worked in different roles in the call center industry. I started as a telemarketer, and then moved on to call center roles, where I developed my skills in empathy and communication, developing sales strategies and business development portfolio. I spent many years in successful sales postions at American Express then transitioned into a Business Development role in the American Express portfolio for Small Businesses.
To further my knowledge and expertise, I took roles in fraud analyst postions, Customer Care handling rebates, rewards and learning about account reconciliations and account aging. My role as a previous Wealthsimple Customer Success Experience Agent, really helped me to develop as an all rounder and to think outside the box within the financial industry.
My formal education consists of an Accounting Diploma,I have been doing hands on accounting with customer service for over 20 years. My true education is hands on with accounts services, aging of accounts, reconciliation, disputes, communicating to customers, empathy, resolving issues, problem solving and bringing suitable resolution to my clients and customers.
