About
I am a new graduate from the University of Ottawa's Master of Information Studies program, currently working at the Canadian House of Commons as a Program Officer on the Information Management (IM) team. I am driven to create and maintain information systems that support secure, efficient, and user-friendly information storage, retrieval, and use. I have demonstrated a high capacity for delivering solution proposals based on carefully conducted research.
I am especially interested in metadata management.

Education
Master of Information Studies
I completed this two-year bilingual (French and English) program with the co-op option. Through this degree, I have learned both theory and practice related to information resource retrieval, knowledge organization, data analysis, information management and governance, policy analysis, project management, and research methods.
Two major projects that I contributed to during my studies are:
- an analysis of the Canadian Research and Development Classification system as a potential replacement for the Library of Congress Subject Classification system in the context of the Directory of Open Access Journals: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.7425341
- a capstone project centered around proposing a trauma-informed approach to managing (and potentially digitizing) the Canadian Women's Movement Collection held by Archives and Special Collections at the University of Ottawa Library
