My name is Sam Gagne and I am a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Calgary. I am pursuing a concentration in Business Analytics and seek opportunities to bring new value to business decisions by effectively utilizing data. I seek to bring that experience to a professional company and develop my desired career path.
During my time as a server at Joey Restaurants, I developed strong communication skills while ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient and accurate service. I also have experience working in the City Parks Department where I operated heavy machinery and was responsible for maintaining parks grounds and equipment, demonstration my attention to detail and ability to handle diverse tasks.
In addition to my academic and professional experiences, I have actively engaged in volunteer work within the community. Through organizations such as Taking Strides and Best Buddies, I have built meaningful relationships with individuals with disabilities, fostering inclusivity and advocating for their well-being. Furthermore, my role as a head soccer coach at Calgary Blizzards Soccer Club has allowed me to develop strong leadership and teamwork skills.
