I am a Senior Health Care Program & Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in IT, Change Management, Strategic Planning, and Business Analysis, combined with a proven record of successfully leading complex programs within the health care industry. Through my company, SMD Consulting, I have managed complex technical projects for a wide range of corporate clients, including First Nations Health Authority, Provincial Health Services Authority, LifeLabs, Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services, VanCity, Doctors of BC, and the Physician Information Technology Office.

Highlights of my experience include leading the planning, design, and implementation of clinical systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Lab Information Systems (LIS), as well as system migrations and upgrades, business process improvements, in order to enhance productivity and improve performance while managing change. My roles have required me to lead diverse cross-functional teams, including overseeing training, coaching, and performance management, where I have managed all project stages, including planning, development of project scope, implementation and evaluation.
