Tracey Buckmaster

have worked with the Government of Manitoba for 21 years in Administrative and Financial Support Services.

Prior to this, I worked in retail, as a young adult at various stores selling a variety of items like clothing, shoes and sporting goods.

I also worked at a Tanning Salon where I became the Manager. The company I worked for was very big on skin care, keeping moisturized and reducing fine lines and wrinkles when tanning, as well as after care products for tanning. This was a commission base sales position where we often were the top store for sales. In addition to sales I listened to the client and tried to help them with their individual needs. It was important for me to have a personal relationship with my clients as well has have their trust.

I have realized I have missed working with people and helping them to feel good about themselves. This is a huge passion for me, as I often find myself in a store and helping someone with what they are looking for just because I enjoy it and want to help. I have always particularly loved make up and skin care and helping women feeling beautiful.

I also worked selling cars before I started my career with the government. At the time there was not a lot of women in the business but I was up for the challenge!

I have previous sales experience and a lot of experience dealing with people in a process level.

I have Administrative Assistant diploma which taught me to be very organized and efficient.
