Vladyslav Verminskyi

I am a graduate from the University of Toronto in Management and Sustainability with business and science background. I partner with organizations on building motivated, engaged work teams through creating clear and accessible learning materials to onboard and train people. With experience in online course delivery and academic tutoring, I am open to the next opportunity to deliver top-class training materials to educate and bring workers together.

I have a range of experiences working with people delivering educational and recreational programs and coordinating work teams:

• As a freelance tutor & learning facilitator, I delivered online classes for K-12 students on STEM subjects, developing learning paths, identifying strengths and weaknesses and delivering personalized academic guidance to each student, enabling them to develop mathematics, critical thinking and logical skills. 
• As an activity manager in an international summer school, I coordinated a team delivering recreational programs and tour guiding to school students visiting Canada to learn English and experience Canadian culture. Being culturally sensitive and respectful in every situation, and ensuring that every team member is highly engaged, the team delivered every tour and activity with excellence, resulting in great experience and wonderful memories for the students. 
• As a customer service coordinator, I remotely coordinated teams of maintenance workers (incl. electricians, mechanics etc.) running a 24/7 maintenance service to a chain of hospitals, where I ensured all operations were completed on time and the workload was distributed evenly across workers.

• Instructional design - Coursera/University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, including adult learning theories, learning management systems (LMS), and effective instructional design methods to reach diverse audiences.
• MSc.

  Sustainability

  Management - University of Toronto, focusing on sustainable practices in business, emissions reduction, sustainability marketing, ecosystem science, and sustainable resource management. Also includes a thesis on creating engaging & motivation-focused learning environments in a university setting. 

• BSc. Physics - University of Leicester, including mechanics, thermodynamics and astronomy (to name a few), is highly useful to navigate in technical and scientific projects and describe technical aspects to non-scientific audiences.
