Alana Diaz

My name is Alana, and I’m married with two children. I’m a qualified hair and beauty therapist, having completed my training at Alban Road and later becoming one of the first students to train at Coleg Sir Gâr. My first role was on a cruise line, working in the spa, where I gained over seven years of experience in customer service, organization, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

After leaving the cruise industry, I transitioned into managerial roles, including positions in foreign exchange, as a Floor Manager at Boots, and as a Cosmetics Manager at Debenhams. These roles allowed me to develop strong leadership, customer service, and administrative skills.

Currently, I work as a Cook in Charge at Glan-y-Môr School, where I manage a team, oversee daily operations, and ensure everything runs efficiently. My diverse experience has equipped me with excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing exceptional service, which I believe makes me a strong fit for this role.
