I was previously employed for 20 years in a senior role of Business Development Manager for Greig Avinou Ltd with multi-functional responsibilities for managing the Companies Scottish Window and Specialist Divisions Cleaning Operations, including Rope Access Division.

I have an extensive Sales, Finance, Administration, Operations and Health & Safety experience, having set up Window Cleaning, Specialist Services, and Rope Access Divisions, for major Soft Service Cleaning and FM concerns for over 40 years.

My role was a senior position which comprised communicating and working with new and existing clients to identify new sales opportunities for large, and small-scale business projects, with client liaison at various levels, carrying out surveys, compiling costing analysis, compiling tenders for tender deadlines, recording wins and losses with the focus on retaining business wherever possible to generate local saturation in geographical areas for steady and sustainable growth.

I also undertook consultation with clients and architects on access and cleaning strategies for new building projects for specialist forms of disciplines such as Rope Access, Mewp Access, Cradle Systems, Roof Safety Systems, and then put together an access and cleaning strategy along with a set of Site-Specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements for compliance with Health & Safety Safe Working Practices and CDM Regulations.

I went from High School onto Edinburgh College then flexi studying at Edinburgh College, Stevenson College. I have many certificated accomplishments in Business Management / Health & Safety / Sales & Marketing.
