Ami Scott

I am starting university at BCU in September and I will be studying Fashion Business and Promotion.

Because of this, I would like to gain some experience in the fashion industry and I believe Zara is the perfect place for me to work at and be surrounded by the best fashion.

I currently have 2 and a half years of customer service experience working as a waitress and front of house at a leisure centre. I have experience in counting stock and putting things away in the stock room. I also have experience in accepting orders from the couriers.

I have access to my own personal car with a clean driving license and I also live 5 minutes away from Solihull Town Centre.

Within my relevant experience, I was employed at a country pub in Warwickshire called Tom O’ The Wood. This job has taught me how to work successfully in a team and also how to work under pressure, especially after the lockdown when there was high demand for tables as things started to open back up. Within my role I have learnt customer service skills and how to satisfy every customer, whilst also communicating with bartenders and chefs.

I also manage stock checks, opening and closing of the premises as well as training new recruits. I also had experience working in a gym as a front of house staff, Exceptional customer service skills and always greeting customers with a smile, going above and beyond helping other departments within the gym such as giving tours around the spa and gym when the sales team were busy, always happy to help the team or a customer requiring assistance, working in a fast-paced environment ensuring all customers are happy.

Level distinction in my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media, also will be undergoing an undergraduate degree in Fashion business and promotion.
