I am an accomplished client relations and marketing professional who is looking for any type of opportunity to support a change in career to work in the animal welfare sector.
Although I have a degree in Marketing and over 5 years of experience in that industry, it has taken a career break working in Australia for me to realise that I now need to pursue my original passion for working with animals. Ultimately I would like to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse and have already arranged some work experience and taken some online short courses to further prepare me for employment in this area.
My previous career experiences have made me both tenacious and resilient. I value the importance of excellent time management, precision and working towards team goals. I have many additional skills which, I believe, means you will gain a dedicated, self-starter and detail-orientated individual.
Feedback from clients, my team and colleagues has been that my teamwork, amicable and positive personality have made me successful in delivering projects and to developing relationships with people from different backgrounds, ages and social groups. I am convinced that these skills can be adapted to the animal welfare sector to bring about benefits to future employers.
