About

I am a flexible, sociable, and highly committed individual with a strong focus on delivering excellent service to both the public and my employer. I take pride in my work and am motivated by consistently providing a high standard of service in any role I undertake. I am energetic, focused, and have strong attention to detail.

I work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and I enjoy engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. My experience working as a Summer Camp Counsellor in the USA supporting disabled children and adults developed my patience, adaptability, and sense of responsibility in challenging and varied situations. I am currently working as a Residential Activity Worker in a safety-focused environment where safeguarding, following procedures, and making sound decisions are essential.

This has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, follow strict processes consistently, and prioritise safety at all times. I am motivated by responsibility, structure, and the mental focus required in a safety-critical environment. I am particularly drawn to the discipline and concentration required in rail operations and I am confident in my ability to meet these demands.

I also bring strong communication skills, reliability, and punctuality, along with the ability to maintain focus for long periods in demanding situations. I take pride in responding calmly and appropriately when situations become challenging. Overall, I believe my experience and personal qualities make me well suited to a trainee train driver role, where safety, consistency, and attention to detail are essential.
