I had to come off work due to the ongoing injury (Torn malicious, left knee) I received when I was in the army reserves, as I couldn't walk much and suffered pain through my shifts. I then went through GP appointments to find the problem of this pain, and it turned out that my pain wasn't physical damage but psychological damage. My brain believes there is still damage in my knee and so gives me pain to what the injury was before.
I am currently in the chronic pain unit and on the waiting list to see a psychologist. However, I am keen on going back to work and will put my best in what tasks are asked of me.
