I am a 17-year-old with a strong passion, commitment and drive for the work force. I am a great team worker, punctual and a keen learner. I have been attending dance classes for over a decade and completed all of the IDTA gymnastic dance exams, showing my strong commitment.
I have previously volunteered as a student teacher at my dance school, which I thoroughly enjoyed as I love working with people. It gives me a chance to hone my interpersonal skills and multitasking. I am a volunteer student dance teacher for 5-hour sessions per week. This requires interaction with parents to ensure safe arrivals and departures, room set-up following detailed instructions, and multitasking to support classes and children's needs. It is an important role that I find enjoyable, while providing me with transferable skills.
Line Cook at The Milehouse (2025-06 – 2026-04)
I am a line-cook, specialising in the larder section of my kitchen (starters, select mains and desserts). As well as cooking and plating the meals, I do the required prep needed for my section. I am in control of my section, showing a large amount of trust from my superiors.
I am in the process of being cross trained, meaning I have been taught how to effectively work on the pass and garnish sections. This is a fast-paced, high-stress environment requiring quick thinking and leadership skills. As well as teaching me valuable practical skills, this job includes interacting with a large variety of personalities giving me well rounded experience in working efficiently with others.
