About

Having lived with severe allergies my entire life, I am passionate about raising awareness and improving understanding around anaphylaxis and allergy management. A few years ago I created PeanutFreeZone, a platform dedicated to educating others, sharing resources, and challenging common misconceptions about allergies. I am driven, empathetic, and committed to making a positive difference in people's lives.

I am an experienced hospitality professional with several years of customer-facing work, where I developed strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds. Alongside my hospitality experience, I have completed voluntary training with the YMCA to support young people, as well as a range of online courses to broaden my knowledge and skills.

Experience

Founder at PeanutFreeZone (2020-01 – Present)

Launched PeanutFreeZone in 2020 as a passion-driven project to spark conversation, compassion, and awareness around life-impacting food allergies.

  • Grew a supportive, engaged community by connecting with families, advocates, and experts who share a commitment to allergy safety.
  • Crafted relatable, educational, and often uplifting content designed to make allergy awareness more accessible and human.
  • Became a recognizable voice in the online allergy space, helping others feel seen, informed, and empowered.

Content Creator / Allergy Awareness Advocate at Medicalert (2025-01 – Present)

I work with Medicalert to spread the word about allergy awareness and help people feel more confident managing their conditions.

  • Create easy-to-understand, relatable content that highlights what MedicAlert does and why it matters.
  • Come up with new video ideas that raise awareness, share real experiences, and keep the brand feeling fresh and approachable.
  • Use my own allergy journey to connect with the community and make important information feel accessible, supportive, and real.

Senior Staff Member and Floor Supervisor at Moksha (2020-01 – Present)

Senior staff member and floor supervisor at Moksha, one of the busiest spots in Brighton.

  • Comfortable working across roles — from waitressing to making coffee — to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Used to a fast-paced, always-busy environment where multitasking is key.
  • Quick and efficient at helping customers and making sure they have a great experience.
  • Enjoy working under pressure and being part of a strong, supportive team.
