Economics and Philosophy graduate from the University of Manchester with experience in sales, data analysis and running a small e-commerce business. Interested in business analysis and strategy roles where I can use data to understand problems, identify patterns and improve decisions. Comfortable working with Excel and translating analysis into practical actions.
Client Solutions Executive - Phoenix Software (Nov 2024 – Aug 2025)
In this role I regularly analysed performance data to understand how effectively the outreach process was working. By reviewing engagement metrics across calls and campaigns, I identified where prospects were disengaging early in the interaction. One example was analysing my cold call opener, which was only engaging prospects around 20% of the time.
After researching techniques used by high-performing sales professionals, I designed and ran an A/B test comparing alternative opening approaches. The revised opener increased engagement to roughly 40%, bringing performance in line with industry benchmarks. This improvement also led to more productive conversations because the revised opener reduced the initial resistance prospects often have when receiving cold calls.
Head of Marketing — NextStep (Sep 2022 – Sep 2023)
In this role I analysed campaign performance data to understand how effectively our volunteer recruitment process was functioning. By comparing engagement metrics such as reach, click-through rate and sign-up conversions across different campaigns, I identified which types of content and messaging generated the strongest response. This analysis showed that certain content formats and channels produced significantly higher volunteer sign-ups, which informed a revised outreach strategy.
By prioritising these higher-performing approaches, volunteer sign-ups increased to 18, which was three times the original target for the campaign.
Founder — CFieldApparel (Jan 2020 – Sep 2023)
While running the business I regularly analysed sales and marketplace data to understand which products were performing best. I built an Excel system to track inventory, revenue and profit margins across items, allowing me to identify trends in product performance. By analysing this data alongside competitor listings and pricing strategies on the platform, I was able to identify patterns in product categories and pricing associated with higher engagement and sales.
One example was discovering that T-shirts listed above £20 took significantly longer to sell than those priced around £15. Based on this insight I adjusted pricing strategies to prioritise the higher-demand price range, which improved inventory turnover and reduced the time items remained unsold.
BA (Hons) Economics & Philosophy, University of Manchester (2:1). Coursework included analysing datasets in Excel as part of a research project, involving data cleaning, organisation and identifying trends to support structured analysis and problem solving.
