My name is Dayse Birkenhead, I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 5 years and I love it.
My goal in life is to give people second chances no matter where and how they are in their lives. Empowering and supporting people in developing, recovering or maintaining the daily living, working skills and hobbies of people with a disability, illness, trauma, injury and ageing is what I thrive for.
I have experience within paediatric as well as adult settings. I have worked as a mental health OT for most of my career as an OT, however, I had an opportunity to learn different skills and work in different places such as social services, locked rehab, secure units, prisons and hospital.
