About

I'm a hard-working individual who has a flexible working mentality and can either work as part of a team or alone. My strongest subject has always been English, so therefore I have an extensive vocabulary which allows me to liaise and give instructions effectively whenever I'm communicating with other people. Additionally, this makes me a very approachable and friendly person, which is essential for bonding with either colleagues or clients.

Whilst working alone, I'm fully capable of using my own initiative to spot and solve problems by using my cognitive abilities and analytical eye on detail. I also take care in my appearance and professionalism with much exuberance as possible. Lastly, I always ensure that I treat everyone I always come across in an equal and dignified manner.

Experience

Business Admin Officer - Stockport Homes

(2020-01 - 2020-03)

I did an eight-week work experience placement at Stockport Homes, doing general business admin duties such as scanning, photocopying, documenting, reviewing tenants' applications and imputing data onto the company's database (Northgate). If the client's information did not correlate with the information on our database (e.g. name, date of birth, address, etc.) then I had the responsibility of denying them tenancy.

Medical Records Clerk - NHS

(2021-05)

For the last five years, I've been working both part-time and full-time for the NHS as a medical records clerk, doing a copious amount of admin related duties.

  • Filing and tracking medical casenotes
  • Registering patients on to our database (Lorenzo)
  • Answering phone calls and liaise with people outside our department
  • Managing post
  • Scanning, inputting data and editing documentation
  • Worked in a department as a team member and had to communicate effectively with colleagues to keep track of deadlines for postal deliveries and patients' appointments
  • Whilst alone, was able to use own initiative and locate missing files with scanner guns, only to refile them back into our library
