Engineering graduate who has spent the past 3 years gaining work experience in the medical devices sector of Johnson&Johnson. Initially selling electrosurgical equipment, including bipolar, monopolar and ultrasonic technology. Then working with orthopaedic systems.
Working at the largest medical company in the world has given me a strong commercial background. Working with internal supply chain, hospital procurement and other KOL’s including surgeons and theatre staff, to get product into hospitals and increase sales.
Working alongside the IDHF Industrial Design and Human Factors Engineers undertaking projects on Task User Error and Surgical Technique Guides to improve usability of medical devices for customers.
I also demonstrated my engineering competency during my summer internship at Clarke Saunders Acoustic Consultancy where I integrated skills learnt from my degree such as technical report writing, scientific measurements and CAD design into client facing projects.
