Assistant Night's Manager - Crowne Plaza Plymouth
Whilst supporting the Night Manager in many tasks he thought suitable. I would always maintain security and safety during the night hours, keeping all staff and guests safe. I would organise team schedules, handle staff issues, author vacations, and sick leave.
I would fill in for absent employees and assist teams as needed to complete projects/tasks successfully. I would be the one who would be interviewing all new employees we had on the night team while evaluating employee performance and performance and providing training and guidance as needed. Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time and budget.
Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations, and ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service. Initiating and driving marketing efforts informing clients and employees about promotions, and applying knowledge of emerging consistent trends to inform purchase and inventory decisions and solutions.
Night's Supervisor - Crowne Plaza Plymouth whilst working in reception I am ensuring all security measures are strictly enforced during the night, this is to include cash handling and key security procedures. Also, consistently delivering superior customer service and ensuring all hotel guests receive efficient reception services upon arrival and departure from the hotel during nighttime hours. I am fully aware of all hotel facilities that are offered to the guests.
I ensure all accounts are processed correctly, and checked and all necessary documents raised for the finance department. I am responsible for allocated cash floats and carrying out the banking as directed. I ensure all night procedures are completed to the standard and higher required by the company, also dealing with late room cancellations/releasing rooms and out-bookings.
In the morning liaising with reception at handover to ensure maximum room sales. Knowing the hotel switchboard. To collate and pass on information and messages to other departments, while collating guests' wake up and newspapers and programs within the system.
I undertook any late or early postings while participating in training and coaching of team members as required, including receiving training. Fully aware of any ahead to Health and Safety, Fire, Bomb threats, Security and payments card industry data security. Procedures laid out by the company/hotel.
