I am a final year business student with one year of experience in outbound logistics at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK. I have developed strong scheduling, administrative, and communication skills within a fast-paced service environment, and I am keen to apply these skills.
During my year-long placement in Outbound Logistics, I was responsible for coordinating daily operational schedules, monitoring open tasks, maintaining accurate system records, and liaising with both internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure work was completed efficiently and on time. I regularly tracked work-in-progress activities, followed up on outstanding items to prevent delays, and escalated issues where necessary to maintain service standards. Accuracy and organisation were critical in this role, as I processed documentation to ensure 100% compliance and produced daily performance reports for management review.
This experience has given me a strong foundation in workload coordination, database management, and stakeholder communication. I am comfortable working under pressure, and proactive in ensuring tasks are completed and records accurately maintained.
In addition to my professional experience, I am currently completing a BA (Hons) in Business Management, further strengthening my organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. I am highly IT literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Teams and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
