Jade Barnett

I am a very passionate, patient person, always willing to learn and works under pressure, I have worked my way through the care home, I started as a care assistant and worked my way up to head of care. I spot the small things and love working with dementia. I am shy to begin with but I soon open up and will make a fool of myself.

I can create a good care plan for a resident from scratch and I know how to complete DOLs, I have sat on many DOLs assessments. I complete pre assessments and Upload onto Nourish with is the site we use. I have completed audits and I run teams and completed supervisions and appraisals.

I work hard and work better under pressure. I love my job but I need a new challenge.

I currently work for carebase. I have been a care assistant, I have been a senior care assistant, I have been head of care and I did a couple of months as a deputy manager. I have grown within the company.

I do not believe to higher you grow the less you do, I believe you should be able to juggle the more you learn, I believe no matter your role you are no better than anyone and I believe if you see it do it. I have also worked in the kitchen and the laundry, for events I will dress up and make a fool of myself, my picture shows this.

I believe our residents are the most important and nothing is to big to do and anything they want we should do our best to accommodate, from a chat to running to the nearest M&s to get their favourite sweet or as simple as putting a smile on their face.

I am currently head of care, I work as a senior team member, I work as a care team member and I also complete deputy manager work
