I’m a UK based digital comic cover artist and character designer. My artistic style is based in illustration and street art.
My interest in comic and illustration art dates back to my childhood growing up in the 1980’s where I would watch all the popular cartoons of that era and read comic books. I loved the action and adventure, but I was also fascinated by the amazing artwork that was displayed.
I launched BOO’21 Custom Artwork in 2021 I began by selling canvas paintings, and then moved into creating art onto skateboard decks. My clients ranged from local to the Bristol area to across the globe.
I then moved into digital artwork. I began to undertake commissions for clients in various parts of the world and have created all sorts of designs, including logos for various businesses, and even shirt designs for a junior baseball team.
My artwork has been featured in magazines and exhibited in galleries in the UK. And in 2021 I was one of the award-winning artists at the Nottingham Street art festival. In the summer of 2022, I was one of the artists at the Upfest street festival where I was live painting at Ashton Gate stadium in Bristol over two days.
I freelance with various independent comic book companies creating character designs and cover artwork for their books. One of the highlights has been solo publishing my first adult/teen colouring book which has been ranked in the top 10 charts on Amazon.
I am an award winning street artist and have painted at the largest street art festival in Europe.
I freelance with several US based independent comic book publishers creating cover artwork and panel artwork for their comic. I also create character design sheets based on their desig brief.
I host weekly art tutorials on TikTok which is viewed by 100s of people at a time and give step by step guides on creating artwork using pencil and paper and the Procreate app.
