Experienced emergency call handler and customer service adviser with good communication skills and passionate about helping people.
I currently work in the control room for the Fire and Rescue service at North West Fire Control, covering areas of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria, answering 999 emergency calls from the public and other agencies. I mobilise the fire engines for each incident and liaise with the fire crew and take informative messages and add it to the incident log. I also take admin calls.
I also previously worked for Greater Manchester Police, taking 999 emergency and 101 non emergency calls.
