Home Office - July 2023 to Present In my current role, I serve as an Asylum Decision Maker at the Home Office, actively contributing to decision-making for individuals claiming asylum in the UK. My key responsibilities include writing detailed refusal or grant letters for each individual, in line with caselaw and current government policies. I execute these tasks with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

I collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and consistently meet or exceed performance targets. Additionally, I have played a pivotal role in the Prime Minister's promise to clear the legacy backlog (cases pre-28 June 2022), showcasing my ability to innovate and drive positive outcomes. My role involves reading caselaw and understanding the background knowledge of many different countries, demonstrating my versatility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
