I am a certified Data Centre and Cabling Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in IT and telecoms. Skilled in copper and fibre installations, rack-and-stack, troubleshooting, and decommissioning, I also bring expertise in capacity planning, DCIM tools, and documentation. Having led teams and mentored technicians, I combine strong hands-on skills with supervisory experience, ensuring reliable, standards-compliant data centre operations.
I have over 20 years’ experience in data centre infrastructure, cabling, and IT operations, with a proven record of managing structured cabling (copper and fibre), hardware lifecycle, and infrastructure migrations across enterprise environments.
My expertise covers rack-and-stack deployments, patching, testing, troubleshooting, and decommissioning, as well as capacity planning for power, cooling, space, and network resources. I am a CNCI-certified Copper and Fibre Engineer and Certified Cabling Test Technician, experienced with Fluke tools, DCIM platforms, Visio, and AutoCAD.
Throughout my career — including my role as IT Data Centre Services Team Leader at Telenet BVBA (Liberty Global) — I have led engineering teams, coordinated vendors, ensured compliance with safety and industry standards, and delivered projects to SLA. I bring both hands-on technical skills and supervisory leadership, supporting critical business operations and long-term infrastructure growth.
Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI) – Copper & Fibre (BTEC Level 3 Awards)
Certified Cabling Test Technician (CCTT) – Fluke Networks (Copper & Fibre, Tier 1 & Tier 2 testing with DSX, CertiFiber® Pro, OptiFiber® Pro)
City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in ICT Technology – including Intel hardware and Microsoft software
