I have over 20 years experience working in the rail freight sector in the UK for the leading Intermodal rail freight provider. I am a safety focused Operations Manager with Project Management being a core element of my role. I believe strongly that safety is an integral part of an efficient and productive operation and am proud of my terminals low incident rate and the work ethic of our employees

I have extensive experience in assisting with the management of a busy Intermodal Terminal.

I have also successfully managed many low and high budget projects which have enhanced the terminals safety and operational efficiency.

I also have experience in most UK rail systems and have had input at high levels in regards to process flows and system design for new Terminal operating systems.

I created from scratch a department to assist in the national network of terminals in the training and user support of the new system.

I have experience of multidisciplinary and multiple stakeholder project Management especially and was an integral part of bringing a major infrastructure improvement project to completion in partnership with Network Rail

I am educated to A level standard and am also a Prince 2 Practioner but I also received extensive work based training in all aspects of Management functions
