Having sold two successful retail shops in Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds for seven years which I owned, managed and developed together with my husband, I have a wealth of experience in both retail, hospitality and the travel industry. I was responsible for the display of both our shops with positive feedback and admiration of our shop displays from both local and international clientele and even from fellow traders. I have also worked as a full-time Visual Merchandiser for River Island, Gloucester in December 2023 but after sustaining a foot injury, sadly I could not continue with the role.
I am currently working as a Sales Assistant for Beauty Outlet at Gloucester Quays for over two years now bringing a mature, professional and a dedicated attitude to the workplace. As part of my role I am responsible for the display of the Fragrance, Sunglasses and the Hair Section ensuring each section is tidy, presented beautifully and displayed attractively to Customers. I am now ready for a more creative role again as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail setting.
I am passionate about design, home interiors and creative way of living. I have a good eye for design and a natural flair in execution of beautiful display of products, with the aim of translating them into inspiring ideas, increased desirability, giving each piece a wow factor. My main goal is to build Visual displays that will eventually translate Sostrene Grene products into very saleable pieces that shouts to customer "buy me", enhancing and increasing commercial sales for the company.
I am flexible, adaptable and reliable with excellent communication skills and fun to work with too. I would also consider other position or vacancies that are suitable.

As the Visual Merchandiser, I was going to be responsible for the Shop window display of the clothes and fashion accessories. This will also include the rotation of product displays inside the shop adhering to the Company's guidance on how to create the look and the display that they are trying to achieve for the current season.

At the end of an evening shift, I cash up and as a key holder I was responsible in closing the restaurant in a secure manner.
Alongside this job, for about a year I also worked part time as a Sales Assistant for the clothing shop Oxford Shirt Company in their then Moreton in Marsh branch. I mostly do the general retail sales duties when the Manager is on her day off.
