I've worked in hospitality for 22 years, in a variety of positions from hotels, pubs and wedding venues, I am proactive and a great team player, I've learnt numerous skills within the industry and my goal is to achieve the running of my own establishment as a manager. General Manager at The Walnut Tree (Present)

As general manager I am responsible for the daily management of the business, site and staff including the management of the hotel.

• Assisted with making sure team hours are correct and signed off at the end of the night
• Learnt more skills from the hotel side of the business including how to process refunds and ledger accounts
• Learnt how the greeneking banking system works and how to use pulse to report maintenance issues and repairs

Assistant Manager at The Griffin Inn Bath In my role at the griffin inn as assistant manager my duties included opening and closing the business and making sure the rooms were ready for the guests checking in.

Senior Team Leader at The Westgate Bath (2022-05)

I started at the Westgate in May 2022 after a transfer from my previous pub because I wanted to expand my knowledge, training and advancement opportunities, in my time there I successfully advanced to senior Team Leader and regularly assisted and completed jobs as an assistant manager when needed.

• Assisted in the kitchen when required and undertook full kitchen training
• Sent by general manager to assist with events such as Cheltenham races
• Help cover staff shortages in other pubs
• Travel to Oxford on a few occasions
• Held a pub in Witney as GM for a week whilst their manager was unable to be there

Team Leader at The Woolpack Inn Beckington (2020-08)

I started at the woolpack in Beckington in August 2020 after being out of work for almost 6 months due to covid lockdowns and restrictions on my previous employment, this is when I first started my career with Greeneking. I quickly advanced to Team Leader and was trusted with the closing of the hotel.

• All tills were cashed up and contents secured in the safe

Head Barman at Orchardleigh Estate (2017)

I started working at Orchardleigh estate in 2017, I wanted to gain more experience within hospitality, and as an estate that served as 2 separate large wedding venues and a golf club it was always a new and exciting challenge. I started as a barman and occasional night porter, and quickly worked up to head barman of both wedding venues.

• Responsible for making sure stock was in the correct areas for each event
• Ensure that the bars at both venues ran without any problems
• Met lots of new people from all over the world

The Sun Inn is where I truly believe my passion for hospitality came about, I learnt so much from my boss here and to this day remain good friends with her and still visit the pub on regular basis, I spent the majority of my time working here as bar manager.

The Olive Tree was my first job out of school at 16, I started in the kitchen as a kitchen porter, and moved out to the bar when I turned 18, I helped the owners at the time with a variety of tasks and earn their trust, which in turn saw me promoted to bar manager by the time I was 20.
