I am a graduate who is an outgoing, reliable, motivated person, with a positive “Can-do” attitude, I can work in a team or on my own initiative. I have excellent verbal communication skills with a good telephone manner, and high levels of IT Literacy. I am always willing to learn new skills. I want to work as an administrative assistant to support businesses and help them to thrive.
In my spare time I like to take part in chess, supporting local football, Amateur dramatics and going to the theatre. I absolutely adore musicals.
I have one year experience of working as a call handler for a hospital appointment centre. I have 6 months voluntary experience as a helpline call handler for Age UK, Bristol. I have over 15 years voluntary experience in Scouting and at least 3 years of administrative work within this sector. I also worked as a Learning Support Assistant for 13 years, but this is an area I am not looking at going back into at this current time.
Due to health issues I can realistically only work part time hours.
I have achieve up to Level 2 Qualification Status in British Sign Language, and I am going to be undertaking a level 3 course in BSL later this year.
I hold a BA (Hons) 2:1 degree in Education and Linguistics
I have achieved a Grade B in GCSE Maths, and grade C in GCSE English Language
